Blue Bandicoot Studios is an independent film and animation production company located at the foot of the beautiful Blue Mountains in Sydney's Western Suburbs.

The animation department specialises in 2D cut-out animation in Toon Boom Harmony. Our team of Animators, Storyboard Artists, Illustrators, Riggers and Layout Artists have extensive experience working on productions for Disney, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, Sony Pictures and Fox Entertainment as well as local Australian TV series’, feature films and preschool and educational entertainment. We offer an affordable alternative to offshore animation and have a vibrant and friendly studio.

The film department works on broadcast and cinema release documentaries, short films, advertisements, music videos, promotional videos and training videos and have worked with over 20 non-for-profit organisations. Our work has been shown on all major networks.
